Used on "Deckhand" style rods in place of cork tape. Great for Turks Head Knots. Also used for "Rail Rods" by wrapping a 6"-8" section of the blank between the reel seat and the fore-grip, allowing the rod to be placed on the boat rail while fighting large fish, preventing damage to the fore-grip. Also used to wrap Plier handles, Knife handles, etc... Does not need epoxy or varnish coating to prevent mildew.
